We are digging! It’s been a long time coming but we are on our way! When we started HaitiansCan five years ago it was because of this project.
Water, one of the basic needs for all living things. There is not a day that goes by that we do not use water in some way, shape or form. Unfortunately, in many places around the world fresh, clean, potable water is not always readily available to a majority of the population. Years ago, our community was blessed with a very deep well that has yet to fail despite many instances where there were long periods without rain. A couple years ago, with your help, HaitiansCan built a water tower that is currently providing water to the community more consistently. Our goal was to bring the water closer to the people. To give them more time in their day. Time, they don’t have to spend walking to and from the water tower to get enough water for their daily needs. And today this is closer to becoming a reality! This is just the beginning, and we will keep you posted as we progress.
